Yes, seriously. I find this pretty interesting. Disney applied for a patent in 2015, which was just awarded to them, to track guests around the park by secretly photographing their footwear. It looks like there would be scanners meticulously hidden around the park so that guests do not notice them. This looks like it could be a very interesting way to personalize a guests experience.
